Inspiring Architecture Concert Hall New Space

LG Hausys presents an architectural project of the Concert Hall, Zaryadie in Moscow,
Russia using HI-MACS® acrylic solid surface. This project can rightly be called the brightest public
building of "Star" architecture built in modern Moscow, at the same time it pays tribute to the author's preferences and
history of the place, believed by the figurativeness of the classical sixties of the sixties.

The Concept of
Architecture Design

LG Hausys There are several themes in the architecture of the Zaryadie concert hall, but they are not divided.
Although they are arranged in space with a certain sequence, they are actually intertwined.
hite balconies flexibly curved in the main concert hall, seem to be ribbed with mahogany ribbons floating on the
velvet underlay. The layers of fog or smoke spread in this way, and energy flows are being drawn into the movies.

LG Hausys In other words, the hall is a “Generator” that receives plastic energy from music in its core: streams are generated around,
like electricity on a coil of copper wire, or like the magnetism of a large celestial body. On the border of the hall energy does not disappear,
it splashes in the foyer with white protuberances of stair railing and balconies, whose asymmetrical fluid movement is
emphasized by light lines and randomly scattered dots of lamps, somewhat similar to stars. In the evening,
the reflection of the interior is projected on the dark space outside; the spotlights are like floating stars,
echoing the real stars that are invisible in the city - a cosmic effect.

The grid of measured rhythm of the vertical walls of the hall and the facade, stitched with curves of balconies and railings,
is connected with them as closely as rhythm in music is associated with melody, the calculation with bright emotions.

Why HI-MACS®?

When creating the interior, much attention was paid to the finishing material which in addition to aesthetic properties,
had to satisfy several requirements that take into account the social nature of the space, such as fire and wear resistance,
ease of maintenance and further operation. Therefore, the architects chose the HI-MACS® composite material for
cladding the surfaces of balconies and staircases, which made it possible to transfer the design of TPO “Reserve” into reality with
surprising accuracy, so it is not easy to find differences from the design visualizations.

The total surface area created with HI-MACS® is also impressive - a total of about 6000 m². This non-porous material is easy to clean,
wash and remove scratches by polishing. So, it is popular not only as a finishing material, also used to create furniture.
And the Zaryadye concert hall is no exception in this sense.

Space Production & Design
by HI-MACS®

There are bar counters of two cafes on the balcony of the second tier and countertops in the
toilet rooms made by HI-MACS®. In addition, the railing of the stairs, “Draining” on the floor of the first floor,
make an impressive turn and turn into benches - this is one of the bright, “Eye-catching”, solutions to the interior of the lobby.

One of the main requirements for the material is the ability to create seamless surfaces of a large area,
including curvilinear ones. Due to their special properties, HI-MACS® is often used to create objects designed
using parametric modeling. The continuity of the lines of extensive parapets of balconies and
stair railings flowing into each other, the graphics of the slats hiding the ventilation system and the finishing of thin columns of the
second tier are the result of accurate modeling and flawless production. In addition to curvilinear fences,
a grooved finishing of the cashier's office area was created using 3D molding, continuing the theme of the
wooden ribbed surface of adjacent wardrobe walls.

The translucency of HI-MACS® has become another determining factor when choosing material for foyer interiors: light plays an
important role in the foyer space, creating a vertical rhythm in the interior, where the horizontal dominates. In the afternoon,
shadows on windows and columns draw shadows on the snow-white planes. And in the evening, the surfaces are enlivened with
light lines on the balconies and illuminated stepped ceilings.

The picture of the built-in illumination is vertical strokes on the surface of the balconies. And the material's capabilities
allow you to create both a blurred pattern and shapes with clear contours. It is only necessary to choose the method of
processing the edges of the internal relief, and the depth of the relief determines the intensity of the glow of the material.
Different colors of LEDs mounted in the design, and the use of dimmers allow you to vary the lighting effects.
